A homemaker and housewife, she died on Friday, October 2, 2009 at O.U. Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Born at Bakersfield, Calif. on October 12, 1951, she was the daughter of Willie Lee and Mamie Faye Tramel.
She attended Wilmer-Hutchins School in Texas. She married Jack Lee Bush on September 30, 1968 at Daniedale, Texas. Preceding her in death were her parents, Willie Lee and Mamie Faye Tramel; her in-laws, Maybelle Morris, Bettie and Bill Morris and Clyde Williams; two nieces, Tonya Howell and Loretta Parrish; and a nephew, Tony Tramel.
Survivors inlude her husband, Jack Lee Bush of the home in Tushka; three daughter, Sandy Wheeler and husband, Cody; Nita Bryant and husband, Riley; and Rebecca Flynn and husband, Tommy, all of Atoka; 11 grandchildren, Jacquie Pruit of Coleman; Zahary Wheeler, Andrew Pruit, Brandy Bryant, Tamara Cooper, Tuff Wheeler, Callie Flynn and Thomas Flynn, all of Atoka; Jessica Bryant and Katharine Bryant, both of Tushka; Trisha Cooper of Stringtown; two sisters, Donna Jones and husband, R.D. and Roxana Tumey and husband, Samuel, all of Coalgate; two brothers, Willie Tramel and wife, Laurie, Seagoville, Texas; and George Tramel and wife, Judy of McAlester; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Helen Matous and husband Joe, Ennis, Texas; Nancy Sott and husband, Jerry; Floyd Morris; Kenny Bush and wife, Mary, all of Atoka; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Honorary pallbearers were Samuel Tumey, Bob and Nita Hall, Joe and Kathy Lantot and Brian Cunningham. Active pallbearers were Craig Bush, Joshua Bush, Tommy Flynn, Randy Bryant, Mark Matous and Jimmy Barak.
