Alex Phillips 83, of La Marque, passed away Wednesday,
May 22, 2002, at UTMB in Galveston, Texas. He was born March 3,1919, in Heavener, Oklahoma. He was a resident of La
Marque for 40 years. Mr. Phillips was a veteran for 22 years serving in the US Army during WWII, he was a retired Heavy Equipment Mechanic for the Texas Department of Transportation.
A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 24, 2002, at Houston National Cemetery with Pastor Richard Brunk officiating.
Arrangements are under the James Crowder Funeral Home, La Marque.

TEXAS CITY -.Margaret Agnes Phillips, 89, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2003, at Danforth Gardens in Texas City. She was born on February 4, 1914, to Franz and Elizabeth Trost in Duesseldorf, Germany.
Mrs. Phillips had been aresident of La Marque for forty-two years. She was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church in La
Marque. Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her husband, Alex Lester Phillips and her parents.
Graveside service will be Friday, December 12, 2003, at 1 p.m. at Houston National Cemetery in Houston.
