Mr. & Mrs. Charles Edward Hudson, Jr of 5832 Monterrey Road have announced the engagement of their daughter, Miss Nancy Jane Hudson, to Larry Allen Hunter. He is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Ray Hunter of Lubbock.
The wedding is planned for 7 pm Dec. 27 in Handley Methodist Church.
Miss Hudson attended East Texas Stte University, Trinity University and University of Texas at Arlington.

Larry Allen Hunter of Keller, TX passed away on Tuesday, August 27th surrounded by his loving family at his residence in Keller. He was born June 20th 1944 in Lubbock, TX to Katie Lee Allen Hunter and James Ray "Babe" Hunter. He graduated from Monterey High School of Lubbock in 1962 and Texas Tech University in 1968. Larry served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1968 to 1974. He married Nancy Jane Hudson of Ft. Worth on December 27, 1969. He was a loyal employee of UPS for 30 years, retiring as Human Resources Manager in Salt Lake City, UT in 2000. He moved back to Texas in 2003 to the Ft. Worth area.
Larry was an avid fan and supporter of Texas Tech University, a member of the Red Raider Club, and a Scholarship Donor. He was a member of Christian Classic Cruisers Car Club of Ft. Worth. Larry, Dad, Poppy was a man of integrity and always put others first. He enjoyed sharing his interests: golf, fishing, Texas Tech Football and old cars with his beloved family, friends, and strangers alike. "Let me show you somethin'"Larry was preceded in death by his parents Katie and "Babe" Hunter of Lubbock, TX. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Hudson Hunter, son, Scott Hunter and wife Shelise, grandsons Hayzen, Hudson, and Houston of Keller, daughter Amy Jane Lanemann and husband Jason Lanemann, grandson Roman of Lewisville, TX, brother James Lee Hunter and wife La Rue of Garland, TX, sister Sheridan Hays and husband Andy Hays of Lubbock, TX, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 8:00pm, Friday, August 30th at Sparkman/Hillcrest. Funeral service will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, August 31st at Irving Bible Church, 2435 Kinwest Parkway, Irving, TX 75063.
The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Baylor Regional Medical Center at Grapevine, Texas for their kind and loving care for Larry during his stay.
Donations may be made to the Texas Tech Red Raider Club Scholarship Fund or Christian Classic Cruisers Car Club of Ft. Worth.
