Individual Details
Josephine Malone
(Abt 1852 - 18 Dec 1898)
Other than atDNA match to my uncle, I cannot find proof that Josephine was a daughter, but neither can I prove she was not.
She married John L. Lambert, 6 apr 1873 in McNairy Co, TN. The 1880 census shows they had a son John, born about 1874.
26 Dec 1878, Fayette, TN, Josephine Lambert married George Washington "Wash" Richey.
1880 Census. District 14, Fayette Co, TN, Hh 9
Wash Richey, age 47, Farmer (all marked b. in TN)
Josie, 30, wife
John Lamburt, 6, stepson
James, 7 months, b. Nov 1879, son
Buried Holly Grove Methodist Cemetery, De Ann, Hempstead, AR with these dates on her grave marker: 1857 - 1898. On FamilySearch, a legacy source states family possessions gave her death as 18 Dec 1898, Hope, Heshoba, MS. Seems odd she would have died there and been buried in Arkansas - likely the location is wrong.
