Charles L. Poindexter
Funeral services for Charles Lafayette Poindexter, 43-year-old Yuma carpenter, who died Friday in a Phoenix hospital, will be conducted at 3:30 pm Tuesday from Memory Chapel.... Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park.
Mr. Poindexter was born August 10, 1906 in Ardmore, Okla. He had resided in Yuma six years.
Survivors are his wife, Flora, four daughters, Alice, Bobbie Lou, Arline and Gwendolyn; two sons Albert and Elroy, all of Yuma; his mother, Mrs. Prince Edward Fletcher, Phoenix; two brothers, Ralph Poindexter of New Mexico and Frank Poindexter, Phoenix; and three sisters, Mrs. Tom Borders, Potter, Ark., Mrs. H. A. Cowan, Phoenix, and Mrs. August West, Omaha, Neb.
