CLARKSVILLE — John Arvil Yarber Mans, 64, of Knoxville died Monday, July 25, 2011, at his home.
He was born Dec. 23, 1946, in Bakersfield, Calif. He was a builder. He was preceded in death by his father, Curgus Mac Mans; sister, Maxine Taylor; and brother, Lester Mans.
Survivors are his daughters, Teressa Mans and Regina Mans, both of Paris; son, Kevin Mans of California; mother, Jean Yarber of Lamar; half-sisters, Loretta Ramsey and Loraine Black, both of St. Louis, Mo.; brother, J.R. Mans of Lutherville; and five grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today, July 27, 2011, at Holman Cemetery in Lamar. The Rev. Amos Pledger will officiate.
