Weldon - Mrs. Pear Ruth Dixon Longmire, 39, died Thursday afternoon in Roanoke Rapids Hospital after giving birth to a daughter. Funeral services will be conducted from the home Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock by the Rev. Worth C. Grant of the Weldon Baptist Church. Burial will be in Cedarwood Cemetery. Besides her infant daughter, Mrs. Longmire is survived by her husband, Horace Longmire; two daughters, Shirley and Frances Ann; two sons, Ralph E. Longmire of Washington, D.C. and Horace R. Longmire, Jr., of the home; a sister Mrs. Elizabeth Bragg of Franklinton; a brother Frank C. Dixon of Washington, D.C. and her mother, Mrs. Stella Dixon of Franklinton.
