Mrs. Jane Garner, 73, widow of John Garner, died at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the family residence, 1307 West Jackson street, after five months' illness. Mrs. Garner was a lifelong resident of Delaware County.

Funeral services will be conducted from Pleasant Run Church at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery. The body will be returned to the residence at noon today from the Meeks Mortuary.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Mabel Shultz, Mrs. Marta Applegate, and Mrs. Julia Edwards, all of Muncie, and Mrs. Lenna Thompson of Detroit; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Cora Curts and Mrs. Clara Stout, both of Muncie.
