Thomas J. Ward, father of James R. Ward and Mrs. Mary Steavins of Fresno, died in Fresno yesterday at the age of 76. Mr. Ward was a native of England.
He is survived, besides his son and daughter in Fresno, by a son, Thomas A Ward of Red Bluff and three daughters, Mrs. C. J. Coberly, Mrs. Alice Buford, and Mrs. W. P. Reyborn of Clovis. A sister, Mrs. H. C. Jones of Reedley, also survives him. J. N. Lisle has charge of arrangements.
