A memorial service will be held for Daniel Robert Tyler, 73 of Levelland at 2 pm on Thursday , May 15, 2014 at George Price Funeral Home Chapel.
He died at 5:20 pm Sunday, May 11, 2014 at Covenant Hospital in Levelland.
He was born in Cahone, Colorado on February 15, 1941. He moved to Levelland in 1946 with his parents and siblings were he has lived for 69 years. He married Lynnita Pirtle in 1961. He married Carla Roberts in 1978. He retired from Mobil Oil Company in 1989.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years Carla Tyler, two children; Gregory Tyler and Kelly Barker; three stepchildren: Travis Roberts, Emilee Jones and Alicia Capps; ten grandchildren; one brother Benny Tyler; and two sisters Joyce Daniels and Donna Dunaway.
