At his Majesty's court of General Sessions of the Peace begun & held at Taunton wtihin & for the county of Bristol on the Second Tuesday of September annoque Domini 1771:
Rachel Linkon appearing in Court to answer for Bastardy being thereof convict by her own confession. Its therefore considered by the court that She be and hereby is sentenced to pay a Fine of twenty Shillings to his Majesty or receive ten Stripes on her back, ay cost, standing committed till Sentence be paid.
