MOREHEAD - William Spencer, 71, of Rowan County, father of Juanita Spencer of Walled Lake, Mich., died Sunday at his home, apparently of a heart attack. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Spencer Chapel Church, Beattyville. Visitation will be after noon today at the church. Lane-Stucky Funeral Home here is in charge of the arrangements.


Bill Spencer, 71, of Morehead,Ky passed away June 22, 1986. He died of a heart attack, He was born Oct 4, l915 in Filmore, Lee co, Ky. He was the son of Simeon 'Sim' Spencer and Margaret 'Mag' (Spencer) Spencer.
Survivors are daughters, Juanita Marie (Spencer) Spencer of Wixom, Mi, Margaret Francis Spencer (Watkins) of Walled Lake, Mi and Sharon Spencer of Indiana.
Surviving sons are, Mirl Sim Spencer, Bill Spencer, James Patrick Spencer, Robert David Spencer, Lonnie Lee Spencer all of Oakland co, MI...and sons, Little Bill Spencer and William Clifton Spencer of Indiana.
Bill Spencer's 1st wife was Mary Ellen Donathan, they were married in Jan 1933 in Frenchburg, Ky. Bill's siblings were: Maud Marie (Middleton), Malvery (Trusty), Jessie Catherine, Robert 'Bob', John William, Park and Hargus Spencer.
Bill Spencer's father was Sim Spencer (1880-1936) and paternal grandparents were: Brantley B. Spencer (1846-1907) and Lydia (King) Spencer (1844-1902). His mother was born Margaret 'Mag' Spencer d/o William 'Fiddler Bill' Spencer and Elizabeth Naomi 'OMA' Morris. Bill's Great-Grandparents were Joseph Charles Spencer (1812-1870, s/o Moses Spencer) and Elizabeth 'Betsy' Bowman (1820-1876)
Bill's maternal grandmother, E.Naomi 'OMA' Morris's parents were Larkin and Margaret 'Peggy' Collins Morris
Bill had one other son, Carl Donathan, whom he was with when he died of a heart attack.
