Funeral services for Andrew Hiram Lewis, who died Sunday morning about 8 o'clock at his home here, will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Walker-Poole chapel in Springfield with Rev. Mulholland of the Springfield Baptist Church officiating.
Mr. Lewis was born at Franklin, Lane County, Oregon, April 17, 1869 to Mr. and Mrs. Seaver Lewis, old pioneers of Oregon. He was married to Bertha Cox, June 9, 1897, at Junction City. He lived for awhile in California but returned to Springfield about 10 years ago.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Andrew Lewis, Springfield: three sons, James, Graden & Carl Lewis, all of Springfield: one grandson, Graden Andrew Lewis Jr.; one brother, Harman Lewis, Winthrope, Washington; his daughter, Elva Lewis, died in 1918.
Interment will be made in Laurel Grove Cemetery.
