Nellie Campbell Wixom
Nellie, 89, passed away Friday morning, October 27, 2006 at home in Gilbert, Arizona. Her life began in Brigham City, Utah on April 3, 1917. She married Grant Wixom on May 29, 1937 in Brigham City, Utah and he preceded her in death in 1987.
In 1967, she and her husband, Grant Wixom, moved to the Phoenix area to be closer to their daughter and grandchildren. Nellie was known for her kind and loving demeanor. She leaves behind two daughters, Shirley (Basil) Combe and Susan (Ken) Sorensen. She was most proud of her nine grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren. She greatly enjoyed reading, church and her beloved family.
Services will be Thursday at 12 noon at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, Utah. Friends may call Thursday at the mortuary from 11 to 11:45 a.m. Burial will be in Brigham City, Utah.
Services in Arizona were at 10 a.m., Tuesday October 31st, at the Catalina Ward Building, 1520 S. Catalina St, Gilbert, AZ 85233.
