Charlotte J. White of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center.
Charlotte was born to James Ernest and Ida May (Gregory) Henry in Nowata County, Oklahoma.
She grew up in Coffeyville and attended Coffeyville Schools graduating from Field Kindley High School.
On May 16, 1952, she married Harvey Hardaway, they had two children. He preceded her in death.
On September 29, 1969, she married Daniel White. They made their home in rural Coffeyville.She was a member of the First Assembly of God church. She loved antiques and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harvey Hardaway, one brother, James Henry, two sisters, Sharon Henry and Wanetta VanTieghen and one granddaughter, Alicia Damet.She is survived by her loving husband, Dan of the home, one daughter, Sandra Damet and husband, John of Johnson, Nebraska and one son, John Hardaway and companion Teresa Moore of El Dorado, Kansas, 2 step-sons; Kenny Ray White and wife, Tammi of Coffeyville, Kansas and Rick White and companion Lindsey Johnson of Neodesha, Kansas and step-daughter Teresa Walker and husband Dale of Fredonia, Kansas nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Don Henry and companion Ann Lutke of Neodesha and one sister, Betty White and husband, Larry of Coffeyville, Kansas.Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 21, 2015 at First Assembly of God church in Coffeyville with Pastor Randy DePriest officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.Friends may call on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.The family suggests memorial contributions to the First Assembly Church of God sign fund; contributions may be left at the funeral home or mailed c/o David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, KS 67337.
