Andrew B. Bean, Jr.
Former local resident Andrew Bailey Bean Jr., 59, of Sacramento, Calif. died Nov. 19, 1994, in Sacramento.
He was born June 16, 1935 in Mena, Ark., and came to the local area as a youth, graduating from high school here. He joined the Navy in Longview in 1955, switching to Air Force in 1958. He was discharged in 1962.
Mr. Bailey had also worked as a clerk with the Naval Reserve. He left the local area sometime after his discharge and came to Sacramento 17 years ago. he was a sanitation worker for the city of Sacramento.
He leaves his wife, Carol J. Bean, at home; two sons, Mark Andrew Bean and Lester Scott Bean,both in California; four sisters, Ruth Mueller of Vancouver, Bobbye Johnstun of Gilbert-Rainier, Ariz., Bessie Greer of Louisville, KY, and Helyn Helton of Des Moines, Iowa; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Rosa Gibson.
...Private burial will be at San Joaquin National Cemetery, Gustine, Calif.

Buried San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Sana Nella, Merced Co, CA
He has a mility grave marker - served in both US Navy and the US Air Force.
