William Longmire owes Thomas Pittard $60.68 with interest from the 25th of December next and $46.75 by two separate notes, and $14.93 by account. Longmire being desirous to secure payment, has delivered to John H. Caviness, 5 head of cattle or cows, one grey mare, one sorrel mare, one old Negro man Janes, stock of hogs, all of the present growing stock, corn, fodder, oats, wheat & tobacco. Was his wife Hannah? His wife was living in 1840, and two grown daughters and a grown son were in the household - and the ages work well with their ages in 1850.
