Juanita Lainhart died Monday in Salt Lake City of complications following delivery of an infant son Isaac Lainhart. Isaac was stillborn Sunday night and Juanita was flown by helicopter to the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City Monday morning.
Her husband DeLand drove to Salt Lake City to be with her. Funeral services will be Thursday, Nov 9 at 1 p.m. at the Thayne LDS Ward Chapel.

Thayne woman dies from complications of childbirth
Juanita Condry Slater Lainhart, 38, of Thayne died Nov 6, 1978 in Salt Lake City after delivery of a stillborn son, Isaac, at the Star Valley Hospital. Funeral services will be Nov 9 at 1 p.m. in the Thayne LDS Ward Chapel with Ralph Haderlie conducting.
She was born April 12, 1940 in Auburn to Elaine Putnam and Eldred Lee Condry. Her mother married Roy Slater Aug 4, 1942 and they moved to their family home in Thayne where she grew up.
She graduated from Star Valley High School in 1958 and LDS Business College in 1959. She married Allen Deland Lainhart Aug 3, 1963 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.
Juanita enjoyed sports and was a member of several all-star teams while living in Salt Lake City after her marriage. She was active in the LDS Church, serving in the Relief Society presidency, Primary presidency and many years as a Primary teacher and visiting teacher.
She is survived by her husband Deland; six sons: Jerry Deland, Allen Euvern, Eric Boyd, Kurt Nathanial, Elisha Todd and Kyle Deland all of Thayne; four sisters, Mrs Derell (Noretta) Allred and Mrs Arthur (Luella) Summers, both of Las Vegas, Nev. Mrs James (Patricia) Hillstead and Mrs James (Janis) Hunsaker, both of Afton, her parents Mr and Mrs Roy Slater of Thayne, and a grandmother, Mrs Euvern Putnam of Auburn.
