Iva Mae Hanes, 84, of Marietta died Tuesday. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today at Lowndes Funeral Home in Atlanta with the Rev. Don Wood officiating. Burial will be at Peachtree Memorial Park in Norcross. Mrs. Hanes was a member of Mt. Paran Church of God and was a retired practical nurse.
Survivors include two daughters, Martha G Ayers of Marietta and Janice Patricia Tipton of Dunwoody; two sisters, Christine Kight of Pridgen and Irene Royal of Conyers; two brother C.L. Daniel of Buford and Jack B Daniel of Tucker; five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
