It was apparent that Anson had a son William - yet when Anson died there was no mention of such a son. Thomas Critcher also had a son who appears in the records as "William H." but he seems to be the William who married Eliza Norwood and lived until the 1880's.

I believe, given that Anson was administrator of the following estate - that his son William H. died in 1862, leaving no heirs.
