From WorldConnect file:

Rosette Eddy 14
Matilda Sorelle 1.

An autosomal match to a person in AncestryDNA with this ancestry, breaks down at this generation. Missing is proof of a daughter of the Eddys. Shown is a daughter Sarah "Whitman" born Ionia Co MI in 1832, died in Grand Rapids, in 1914 and there is a picture of the lady. She is listed with five husbands, none of the marriages cite a proof document but all except the first have exact dates.
7 Nov 1868, married Chauncy J. Whitman, Newaygo C, MI
6 Dec 1874, married to George W. Bromley, Newaygo Co, MI
11 Dec 1892, married Fred A. Stuart, Grand Rapids, Kent Co, MI (1900 residence, Butte, Siskiyou, CA as widowed mother-in-law)
29 Dec 1906, married James Hubbard, Grand Traverse Co, MI (1910 residence, Almira, Benzie, MI, as head of house, divorced)
No children are listed for any of the above marriages - this individual claims descent from a child of a fifth husband with no marriage cited - Hiram Ogden, b. 1826, Canada, died 26 Feb 1865 in the Civil War. He would have had to have been her first marriage. Hiram is linked to two censuses in 1860 - one in St. Louis MO and one in Fond Du Lac, WI - neither of which matches this man. Child is said to be Esther Mary Ogden, b. 1860 in MI, died 13 Dec 1929 in Glenburn, Shasta, CA

I did find in 1850: Union, Branch, MI, Hh 126
Hiram Ogden, age 26, b. Canada
Sarah, 18, b. MI
If they were married by 1850 - one would think there would be other children.

I could not find the family in 1860.
However, 1870, Newaygo, Newaygo, MI, Hh 79 is:
Chauncey Whitman, 56, b. NY
Sarah E, 38, b. MI
Esther M. Ogden, age 10, b. MI

Hiram is buried Stones River Natl Battlefield, Murfreesboro, TN. He served in Company B, 3rd Michigan Infantry. the Battle of Murfreesboro, Stone River took place from 31 Dec 1862 to 2 Jan 1863 - some two years before the recorded death of Hiram Ogden, so I doubt he died in battle. I did find a "Register of Deaths of Volunteers, 1861-1865" on Ancestry. The entry:
1865 Hiram Ogden, Private, Co B, 3rd Mich Vols., died Feb. 26, at G. H. (General Hospital), Murfreesboro of typhoid fever. Remarks: M. C. Woodworth, S. USV (Ancestry failed to film any beginning page which might explain the "remarks" - they seem to be the attending surgeon.
