James Edward Connor

James attended East Texas State University. He joined the Air Force and attained the rank of Colonel. He married Marjorie Elizabeth Freas 11/28/1946 in San Antonio, Texas. He was a flight instructor during WWII. During his later years, he developed a severe case of rheumatoid arthritis.
Marjorie was born 20 Apr 1920, died 16 Sep 2005.

Marjorie Freas Marries Texan in San Antonio
In the chapel of the air training command in San Antonio, Tex., recently, MissMarjoie E. Freas became the bride of Capt. James E. Connor. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Warren L. Freas of 534 NW 11st St and Capt. Connor is the son Mrs. William E. Connor of Cumby, Tex.
...A reception at the Gunter Hotel in San Antonio was held following the service. Mrs. Freas, mother of the bride, was presnt, as was the mother of the bridegroom and his sister, Miss Lucille Conoor.
The bride is a graduate of Miami Senior High School and Cap. Connor attended East Texas State Teachers College.
They are buried Houston National Cemetery, Houston, Harris Co, TX
