William married Martha early in 1830; it's possible some of the children above were stepchildren.

William Perkins Senr is in the 1850 Mortality Schedule. Died in November 1849 Henry Co, VA, age 65, farmer, cause of death - paralysis. He was ill for six days.
Noted on this schedule for Henry Co VA - Blacks were listed but only with a given name, no surnames.
