Gail Edgar Moore died 9 Oct 1968, at the Ragland-Fenlaw Hospital, Gilmer, Upshur Co, TX. His residence was Rt. 5, Gilmer. He was born 14 Feb 1914, Whitefield, Haskell Co, OK. He was a painter, working for Moore Brothers Lumber. Father listed as J. G. Moore, no mother stated. The informant was Mrs. Edgar Moore, widow. He had served in the US Navy, World War II.
He died of coronary thrombosis, sudden, but had 6 months history of angina. He had a puncture wound to the right foot, an injury that occurred at home, but that was said to not have directly caused his death - there was an autopsy. He was buried on Oct 10th, Maddox Cemetery, Upshur Co.

Funeral for Gail Edgar Moore, 54, of Rt 5, Gilmer, were held Thursday, Oct 10 at Loyd Chapel.
The Rev. Vernon Cornelius officiated. Burial was at Maddox Cemetery
He died Oct 9 at Ragland-Fenlaw Hospital after a short illness. Born at whitefield, Okla, he had moved to Upshur County two months ago. He was employed as a painter with Moore Brothers in Longview. He was a Methodist and a Navy veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Vera Moore, Rt. 5, Gilmer; his mother, Mrs. Maud Moore; two sons, Jimmy Moore and Eddie Moore, and a daughter, Mrs. Pat Dunman, all of Tulsa, Okla; two brothers, William S. Moore, Tulsa and J. G. Moore, Wichita, Kans.; three sisters, Mrs. Eunice Fenley and Mrs. L. W. Gates, both of Tulsa, Okla.; and Mrs. Lena Mae Henderson, Oklahoma City.
