George Farley

George Farley said to have crossed the sea in 1639 aboard the Lion. In 1653 he moved from Woburn to Billerica.

Notes that George was the son of Fabian and Jane (hungerford) Farley, born about 1617 and came to Massachusetts. Settled in Woburn in 1639, but one of the first settlers of Billerica. Died in Billerica, 27 Dec 1693.

The marriage record to Christian Births is recorded as 9th day, 2nd month, 1641 - in 1641 the 2nd month was April.

In June, 1672, "George Farley, Thomas Foster and William Hamle[t],being presented for breach of the ecclesiastical laws they all confess the presentment, were admonished and ordered to pay costs, 4s 6d apeece."-Middlesex County Court Records, Vol. III, p. 35.
