"The Clanton Advertiser," page 2, February 16, 1999, Funeral services for Annie Pearl Wyatt, 85, of Clanton were Feb. 14, 1999, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alvin Porter and Rev. Billy Joe Cotton officiating. Burial was in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton with Martin Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Wyatt was born Oct. 28, 1913, in Alabama in the late Leonard Mims and Edna Wyatt. She was a homemaker. She died Feb. 12, 1999, at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Jack Scarbrough of Thorsby; two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles A. and Margaret Wyatt of Thorsby and James W. "Butch" and Donna Wyatt of Jemison; a sister, Edna R. Mims of Clanton; 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard A. Wyatt; a daughter, Geraldine West; and two grandsons.
