John J. Traywick Goes to Reward
Mr. John J. Traywick, for many years, section foreman for the M & O Railroad, and later a merchant at Billingsley, died in a Prattville hospital Wednesday afternoon of last week following a lengthy illness.
The deceased was born in Chilton County on Feb 25, 1866, but spent most of his life at Billingsley, where he was held in high esteem by his acquaintances.
Funeral services were held at Billingsley Thursday morning at 11 o'clock. Burial was in the Billingsley cemetery with Griffin in charge.
Surviving the deceased are the widow, Mrs. Florence Traywick; two daughters, Mrs. Ervin Golson, Billingsley, Mrs. W. C. Wilson, Birmingham; two brothers, J. W. & G. C. of Billingsley; one sister, Mrs. Ed Coggins of Jones, and four grandchildren.
