Born in Chilton County, Ala., he came to Winter Garden 27 years ago. He was a member of the Church of God. He was in the citrus business.
Survivors include widow Annie; daughter, Mrs. C. R. Peter, Winter Garden; sons, Thomas I., John S., Sylvonnes S., George G., and Delbert D., all of Winter Garden, 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
