Ertie's death is in the Texas Death Index - she died in Navarro County. Social Security gives her last residence as Swink, Choctaw Co OK. She is said buried Old Ringold Cemetery, McCurtain, Oklahoma, along with husband George and several of her children.

Her actual death certificate give her name as Ertie Louanne Bryant. She did in Navarro County Memorial Hospital, Corsicana of heart disease and acute renal failure - she had broken her right hip and knee nine months previously. She had been in the hospital 5 months when she died on 5 Apr 1979. She residence was in Rice, Navarro Co. Ertie was born in Arkansas on 15 Jan 1894 and was 85 when she died. She was a widow. Her father was John Deweese; her mother's maiden name unknown. Mrs. Lois McIntosh was the informant. The body was removed to Ringold OK for burial, Ringold Cemetery.
