Funeral services for Virgil Price Dalrymple, 59, of Delhi were held at 2 pm Thursday at the First Baptist Church of Delhi....
Burial was in the Monroe Memorial Park Cemetery...
Mr. Dalrymple died early Wednesday morning at his home after a lengthy illness. He was a member of the Delhi and Oak Grove Masonic Lodge, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the First Baptist Church of Delhi. He is a 42 year veteran of the funeral service profession, having managed the First Nation Funeral Home in Delhi for 18 years.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Lucy Dalrymple of Haynesville; his widow, Mrs. Clarice Sutton Dalrymple, Delhi; one son, V. P. Dalrymple, Jr., West Monroe; two brothers, V. R. Dalrymple, Waterproof, and Jimmy Dalrymple, Taylor, Ark.; four sisters, Mrs. Ruby Lee Mayfield, Haynesville; Mrs. Winnie Haynes, Springhill; Mrs. Dorris Valentine and Mrs. Barbara Abbott, both of Lisben.

Delhi, LA - Services for Clarice Dalrymple Waites, 79, will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, Feb 21, 1990 at the Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel, Sterlington Road with the Rev. Everett Geis officiating. Burial will be in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Waites died Feb 20, 1990 at the Delhi Richland Parish Hospital following a brief illness. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Delhi and the Fidelis Sunday School Class. Mrs. Waites was a member of the LET Chapter 98, Order of the Eastern Star in Delhi. Mrs. Waites was a retired florist from Mulhearn Flower Shop in Delhi.
Survivors include one son, Mr. V. P. Dalrymple of West Monroe; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Anne Wilson of Monroe and Miss Connie Waites of Delhi; one brother, Mr. James M. Sutton of Dallas, TX; three grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Alice Sutton, 89, of Delhi, were at 10 am Thursday in the chapel of First National Funeral Home of Delhi with the Rev. Billy Pierce officiating.
Burial was in Grove Hill Memorial Park in Dallas, Tex...
Mrs. Sutton died Tuesday afternoon in a Rayville nursing home after a brief illness.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Clarice Sutton Dalrymple, of Delhi; four sons, C. R. Sutton, of Memphis, Tenn.; C. B. Sutton & Jimmie Sutton, both of Dallas, and Harold Sutton, of San Antonio, Tex.; two brothers, Sam Hudson of Bay Minette, AL; and Fred Hudson of Shreveport; four sisters, Mrs. Agnes Goza of Many; Mrs. Florence Bettis of Conway, Ark.; Mrs. Ada Sutton of Shreveport, and Mrs. Eunice Cooper of Dallas; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
