Dianah "Dinah" Bradford
(1726 - 1768)
At least one database suggests that Dinah Bradford married John Duncan, and their son of the same name - John Duncan - then married Elizabeth Holtzclaw, daugher of John Holtzclaw and Catherine Russell.
"The Bradford Family of Fauquier Co, Virginia" an article in Tyler's Quarterly Historical & Genealogical Magazine, Vol. 27, No. 2, October 1945, p.114f, does confirm that Dinah married John Duncan, Jr. of Fauquir Co. They appear successively in Richmond, King George, Prince William and then Fauquir records. Children said to be:
1. John, killed in the Revolution (mentions nothing about a possible marriage - but if he died in the Rev War, he was NOT married to Elizabeth Holtzclaw as her husband was alive for many years following the Revolution)
2. William, b. about 7150, married Lydia Duncan, 16 May 1780 and moved to Harrison Co, KY
3. Charles died unmarried, an artificer in the Revolution
4. Joseph married Jemima Marr, probable daughter of John Marr
5. Rose married 11 Feb 1789 in Fauquier Co to Leander Murphy
6. Leanna married 18 Jan 1789, Fauquir, to Goring White and moved to Russellville, KY
7. Susanna
8. Chloe
