There are some puzzling things about this connection. Harriet was born several years before this marriage and in Illinois, not Missouri - born 22 Sep 1846. The only Harriet Gunn I find in 1850, born in Illinois, and about the right age was a Harriet Gunn, age 3, in Morgan Co, IL - her parents were James & Iliza Gunn - not the couple shown here.

A bio on FindAGrave does show the marriage of George Gunn and Mary Byrd as in 1855 and lists three children born to them. The 1860 census, shows George & Mary with a three-year-old Elizabeth Gunn - which would given her a birth year of about 1857. That seems much more reasonable. Then in 1870, Union Twp, Benton Co MO, Harriet Gunn was living with her mother Mary, and stepfather Harrison Johnson, age 13. Her younger brother Martin present in both censuses.
