Mrs. Martha B. Stanford
Holdenville - Services will be Sunday at 2:30 pm in the Methodist Church for Mrs. Martha Harwell Stanford, 63, who died in St. Francis hospital here early Friday.
Mrs. Stanford was the wife of Carl C. Stanford, a pioneer druggist of Hughes County. Stanford operated a store in Wetumka before moving to Holdenville. The couple had been residents of Hughes County more than 40 years. She was born 13 Jul 1885 in Quin City, Texas.
Mrs. Stanford is survived by her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Harwell Daughtery, and a son, Clayton, all of Holdenville.

Carl Calvin Stanford is buried Holdenville Cemetery, Hughes Co, OK. Born 21 Aug 1882, died 24 Oct 1980. His stone is obviously new and states that he was the son of Willima C. & E. Barilla Stanford, born in McKinney, Texas.
Mattye Harwell, daughter of Sam K. & Fannie Smith, born in Queen City, TX, 13 Jul 1885, died 12 Nov 1948. Also buried Holdenville Cemetery.
