This marriage is listed in the Barbour collection of Conn. Vital Records.
Perhaps parents of Theophy (different spelling) would be listed there.
Samuel was fourth generation of the line of Matthew Grant, founder of
Windsor, CT and direct ancestor of President Grant.
Samuel Grant b. 19 Sept. 1691 who m. Theophyle Bartlett is listed in
Arthur Hastings Grant's book published 1899. (1103) Fourth generation
going back to Matthew Grant of Windsor, CT. They lived in East Windsor;
says probably removed 1713 to Tolland; moved 1726 to Bolton (now Vernon)
having purchased 500 acres on which a large part of Rockville now stands;
returned to Windsor.
Mary Wolcott was born on 10 December 1736. She was the daughter of John Wolcott and Mary Hawley. Mary Wolcott married Abiel Grant, son of Samuel Grant and Theophyle Bartlett.
Another child was Ozias, b. East Windsor 1733, died Rockville, 23 May 1813. He moved in 1761 to Vernon, CT. Served in the Quebec campaigan, French & Indian War. Married at Windsor, 30 Jun 1761, Lorana Strong.
