Joseph Gentry of Surry Co, State of North Carolina.
To beloved wife, Agnes Gentry, all estate real & personal during her lifetime, except such property otherwise bequeathed.
To son Shelton Gentry, 75 acres, where he now lives
To daughter Elizabeth Speere, one Negro girl Hannah and her increase at the death of my wife
To Mary Gentry, daughter of my son William, deceased, 25 #'s.
At the death of my wife the remainder to be equally divided between my sons Samuel and Shelton and my daughters, Anne, Agey, Judith, Sarah & Susanna
To my wife her own bed & furniture and Negro woman Jemima to her property to dispose of at her death as she thinks proper
Samuel Gentry, Shelton Gentry, and my wife Agnes Gentry to be Executors.
