Miss Glossie Dyer and Mr. DeWitt Haden Married.
Left on 9 O'clock Trains for Dallas
Will Go from There to Ranch Near Childress, TX
One of the prettiest weddings that has ever taken place in Bonham was that of Mr. DeWitt Haden and Miss Glossie Dyer at the Episcopal church last night at 7:0 o'clock.
...wedding march skillfully played by Miss Pauline Foster ...Rev. Richard Morgan, rector of the church. Mr. Ber Spivy was best man and Miss Maude Bramlette, maid of honor. Messrs. Gould Dyer and Dan Anthony were the ushers. Mrs. M. V. Gray sang "Thou Art Mine All"
The happy couple left on the 9 o'clock Texas & Pacific train for Dallas and from there they will go to Childress where they will reside on a ranch, owned by the groom.
Mr. Haden was born and reared in Bonham and is a member of one of its most prominent families. ...past two years he has resided on his ranch near Childress.
The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Dyer, was reared here and no young lady in the city, has more true friends or more richly deserves them.
... out of town relatives and friends were in attendance:
Mrs. A. R. Anthony and daughter Eda Cox of Texarkana; Clyde B. Anthony, Hot Springs, Ark.; Dan Anthony, F. Worth; Hon. Sam Nethery, Sherman; Miss Neil Miller, Dallas; Gould Dyer of Sherman.
