John and Mary's wedding was a double wedding with Rhoda James and William Henry "Billy" Terry.
In 1880 Mary Ellen did not give the birthplace of her parents.
In 1900, Mary's place of birth is given as Arkansas, AR also the birthplace of both parents.

Mrs. J. W. Haden Not Improving
A letter from Mrs. J. W. Haden who is sick at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Byrd, in Dallas, received today by Mr. Haden announced that she is not improving very much. Mrs. Haden also wishes to thank her many friends here for their kindness and Thanksgiving remembrances. Her friends here will regret to learn that she is not doing so well.

Mrs. J. W. Haden Died Last Night
Funeral Will Occur in Bonham tomorrow Afternoon at Willow Wild
A message was received by friends here this morning announcing the death of Mrs. J. W. Haden, which occurred in Dallas last night at eight o'clock. The remains will arrive in Bonham tomorrow afternoon on the 2:15 T. & P. train and will be conveyed from the train to the cemetery where the funeral will be conducted.
Mrs. Haden had been an intense sufferer for many months and her death was not a surprise to her friends. She had been a resident of Bonham for many years and by her friendly disposition had won many warm personal friends who are deeply grieved to learn of her demise.
The husband and two children are left to mourn the loss of a devoted wife and loving mother. They have the deepent sympathy of their many friends.
