18 Jan 1839. David Comstock and wife Sarah of Adams, MA, for $4500, deeded land to Joseph Hathaway that had been conveyed to David by Amos Comstock, on 13 Jan 1836.

David Comstock, of Shaftsbury, VT, wrote his will 11 Dec 1840, which was proved 3 Feb 1841. It left everything to his wife Sarah to bring up the children.

Seven children are named in the Comstock book - Louisa was the oldest.
