Marriage record from Mecklenburg Co as 1 Jan 1788 must be an error - it was probably 1798.
In 1810, John is found in the Caswell Co NC Census.
His will was presented in Court Jan 1836, dated Dec 1832. Children named in the will were: Martin M., Drury Alexander, John Wright, Frances, Thomas Banister. In another place he said "all my children". Frances was probably the youngest because division was not to take place until she reached lawful age.
