John Lee married 17 May 1817 to Mary Eliza Chenavard.

He was a physician, author of many textbooks and a history of the Greek Revolution.

Dr. John Lee Comstock is apparently responsible for the story that the Comstocks had originally come from Germany. It is my belief that he may have been the victim of one of many of the genealogical frauds of the day.
