The name of his wife/wives is difficult to determine. In 1940, she was Margaret - in 1942 he claimed Mrs. Josephine Shockey was at the same address.
M. M. Shockey married 22 Mar 1909, to Iva C. Caldwell. He was 24; she was 18. They married in Richfield, Conejos County, CO. Henry W. Valentine, Minster, officiated.
There is a Denver CO marriage for a Marion M. Shockey to Coral G. Armstrong on 8 Sep 1924 - no ages are stated. H. Bray, JP, performed the ceremony.
Another Denver CO marriage for Marion M. Shockey to Josephine Sandoval in Denver, 2 Jun 1935. Again no ages were given. Florencio Montenez Robles, Minister, performed the ceremony. In 1942, he did state Mrs. Josephine Shockey would always know his address. But strangely in 1940, his wife was named as Margaret - was she Josephine Margaret - or did the enumerator simply make a mistake.

Mrs. Josephine Shockey of the same address would always know his addres. His employed was the U.S. Army Blacksmith Shop at Fort Logan, Colorado. 5'6" tall, 180 lbs. Blue eyes, gray hair. Thumb on right hand deformed.
