Rushville, Ill., June 21.
Gussie Irwin, 71, a well-known carpenter and painter, died Saturday morning at 2 in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Mary Jane Busby, who lives on Route 1.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 in the Roby funeral chapel. The Rev. Marshall Irvin will officiate and burial will be in Rushville cemetery.
Mr. Irwin was born in Schuyler county Feb 5, 1893, a son of Edwin & Columbia Houser Irwin. He was married in Mt. Sterling, Feb 11, 1919, to Marie Haley. Surviving are the widow, the daughter, two sons, Charles Russell and Maurice E. Irwin of Rockford and seven grandchildren.
