Miss Effie Haden, 62, died suddenly at her home in south Clarence where she had lived for the past 33 years, at 11:45 Thursday night following a short illness.
....Miss Haden, daughter of the late Andrew Cosby Haden, who died in 1925, was born on a farm near Woodlawn, south of Clarence, 3 Dec 1884, one of a family of three.
...survived by her step-mother, Mrs. Helen L. Halen of the family home here.
...those from out of town attending the funeral services were: Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Haden of Shelbina, Misses Opal Walker and Ruth Browitt of Macon, Mrs. Tucker Haden of Moberly, Mrs. Herbert Pitts of Chicago, Mrs. Charles Musick and son Ben W. of Kingfisher, OK.
