Lyndon D. Comstock, 80, Sarasota, died April 2, 2002.
He was born Feb. 17, 1922, in St. Joseph, Mo. (Michigan!), and came to Sarasota 20 years ago from the Midwest. He retired as president of Hackley Bank in Muskegon, Mich., and O'Hare Bank in Chicago and spent his entire career in banking. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II, serving four years. He was a lifelong Episcopalian and a member of Bath and Racquet Tennis Club for many years.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Lillian; daughters Deborah Wreford of O'Fallon, Ill., Elizabeth of Seattle and Susan Rolfes of London; a son, Lyndon B. of Bolinas, Calif.; and six grandchildren.

Visitation for Lyndon D. Comstock, a resident of Sarasota who died April 2, 2002, will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel. A Requiem Eucharist will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday at Church of the Redeemer-Episcopal. A graveside service with full military honors will at 1 p.m. Monday in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
