Andrew K. Lawson

( - )

Andrew and Isabelle were noted as infant children of Rebecca Dale Lawson in a Chancery Court suit in 1832 concerning the estate of Rebecca's father.

Young Andrew didn't seem to be in his father's household in 1850, but there was an Andrew Lawson of the right age, living in the same location.
1850, Randolph Co, IL, Hh 886 is this:
Andrew Lawson, age 55, b. VA. Martha 21, Mason 19, Sarah 17, all born in Virginia.
Another Andrew Lawson is found in Randolph Co in the town of Liberty, Household 835:
Nancy Lawson, age 37, b. VA was head of household
Andrew, age 26, also born in VA [Could this be the Andrew Lawson, son of Andrew K. Lawson and Rebecca Dale? He is approximately the right age.]
Charles C. age 16, b. in Kentucky
Rebecca, age 13 and Isabella, age 11, born in Ohio

Then there is this marriage which I'm pretty sure was the young Andrew, age 26.
LAWSON, ANDREW K to BOYD, MARY A (MRS) 1851-12-12 RANDOLPH
She may have been the young widow Mary Warren.
BOYD, JOHN M to WARREN, MARY A 1849-02-07 RANDOLPH
Boyd must have died right away because she's alone in 1850 and seemed to have a sister living with her. She was in Sparta, Randolph Co, listed as Mary Ann Boyd, age 23, born in Tennessee & living with her was Nancy R. Warren, age 16, born in Illinois.

There is a land patent issued at Kaskaska to Andrew K. Lawson, on 1 Aug 1857, for 40 acres. It was in the same section as that of the land of Mason Lawson.

It is possible that Andrew did not live long either. The 1860 census, Randolph Co, shows a Mary A. Lawson, age 31, a Fancy Dealer, born in Indiana with two children. A male, A. P. age 8, and a female D. W., age 4.
