Miss Faustina Redmon is Married to Jack Cheek
Mr. & Mrs. Bert Redmon of this city announce the marriage of their only daughter, Faustina, to Jack Cheek, son of Dr. & Mrs. J. A. Cheek, also of Sallisaw.
The marriage was quietly solemnized last Saturday evening at Muldrow by Rev. L. C. Craig, paster of the Methodist church of that city.
Mrs. Cheek graduated from the Sallisaw high school with the class of 1931 and is a popular member of the younger set. She is now employed as postal clerk at the local postoffice.
Mr. Cheek is also a graduate of the Sallisaw high school. He has attended A & M College at Stillwater, the University of Arizona, and is now a student at Northeastern Teachers College at Tahlequah. He is a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and takes an active part in school affairs.
This paper joins the many friends of the young couple in wishing them much happiness.

Name found in newspaper clipping about a wreck in which Cleo & Eula Rainwater and their cousin, Mrs. Jack Cheek & her husband, had been injured. The wreck happened on "Route 66" near Stroud, OK; they were in a '31 Chevvie coupe. JoEllen does confirm that Faustine had this earlier marriage - apparently divorced.
An obituary of her father in January of 1936 refers to her as Mrs. Faustine Cheek.
