Jesse was married (1) to Nora Rusell by whom he had three children. Nora died in 1950 and he married (2) Lillie [Weatherford] King and (3) Myrtle King.

Jesse and Nora are buried at Oak Hill Cemetery on the county line between Grayson/Fannin Counties. His 3rd wife Myrtle is also there.
