Indiana Death Certificate #21885. William M. Harmon, died at the VA Hospital, Marion, Center Twp, Grant Co, IN on 10 Jul 1939. He had fractured his right femur by a fall some 10 days before his death. Born 24 Nov 1865 in Indiana, he was a Farmer, and single. His father was James D. Harmon; his mother, Martha Cooper. The Clinical Clerk at the VA was the informant. He was buried on July 11th, at Zionsville.

Buried Salem Cemetery, Zionsville, Boone Co, IN. The Executor of his estate, Elza O. Rogers, ordered his military grave marker, 2 Apr 1940.. He had enlisted 26 Aug 1898, was discharged 1 Nov 1898. Served as a Private, Company A, 157th Indiana Volunteer Infantry. He died 10 Jul 1939 (no birth date stated).
