John Lewis

John Lewis inherited the Lewis homestead in King & Queen Co where he lived and died. He was a lawyer as his father and brother were. Tradition holds that he married Sarah Iverson and the name is very persistent in future generations lending some credence to this tradition. Another researcher has stated that John married Katherine Booker and his mother was Sarah Iverson, but the name Iverson does not appear in the family of his brother Zachary or his descendants.
