7 Oct 1779, a Mr. Reuben Turner of Walpole & Miss Lucy Everett, both of Dedham were married by Rev. Mr. Checkering. Too late for Lucy to be the mother of Roswell Turner. Another listing says that Reuben Turner was of Walpole. A Reuben Turner, widow Jane, received Rev War Pension 26.564 - obviously a different Reuben.
